Portland, OR – February 2, 2006 – ProgeSOFT includes the ALE block manager within every copy of ProgeCAD 2006 Professional, allowing for easy CAD block library navigation and organization.
ALE comes standard with near 10,000 blocks in libraries for Architectural, Mechanical (ANSI and ISO), Electrical, Hydraulic, and 3D kitchen furniture.
Users can easily define new libraries and give them three levels of indexing: by library, category, and sub category. Blocks defined in the libraries can have descriptive text, and ALE can also be used to browse folders on a disk for blocks. ALE automatically creates high res previews (visible as thumbnail or enlarged), and makes creation of new block libraries simple.
ProgeCAD 2006 Professional also includes ACIS solid modeling, raster image support, rendering, and a unique set of tools that only ProgeSOFT offers. ProgeCAD software supports the DWG design file format, from version 2.6 through 2006, plus support for AutoCAD® menus, scripts, blocks, AutoLISP®, VBA, and SDS C++ applications.
