ProgeSOFT Releases ProgeCAD 2006 Professional, version 6.1.6

Como, Italy – January 4, 2006 – ProgeSOFT announced today ProgeCAD® 2006 Professional v6.1.6, based on the IntelliCAD® 6.1 CAD Engine, including speed and productivity improvements.

ProgeCAD 6.1.6 boosts the performance of redrawing, regenerating, and command line scrolling between 10 and 14%, while continuing to utilize the IntelliCAD 6.0 graphics performance enhancements of 400 to 1000%. With these enhancements ProgeCAD 2006 Professional is now able to handle larger drawings than ever before.

Over 20 improvements have been made to ProgeCAD including true type font compatibility, lineweights, undo, hide and shade from CTB, and printing. Hurricane Katrina has caused some 25 billion dollars in damage, and Wilma, over 10 billion dollars, and these estimates are sure to rise. The widespread destruction in the affected areas has caused a need for CAD design software to help rebuild the infrastructure.
