ProgeSOFT Releases ProgeCAD 2006 Professional, version 6.1.6

Como, Italy – January 4, 2006 – ProgeSOFT announced today ProgeCAD® 2006 Professional v6.1.6, based on the IntelliCAD® 6.1 CAD Engine, including speed and productivity improvements.

ProgeCAD 6.1.6 boosts the performance of redrawing, regenerating, and command line scrolling between 10 and 14%, while continuing to utilize the IntelliCAD 6.0 graphics performance enhancements of 400 to 1000%. With these enhancements ProgeCAD 2006 Professional is now able to handle larger drawings than ever before.

Over 20 improvements have been made to ProgeCAD including true type font compatibility, lineweights, undo, hide and shade from CTB, and printing. ProgeCAD 6.1.6 also includes the unique ability to record sound clips and attach them to entities for playback at any time. Other enhancements include: new formatting options for multiline text and the ability to snap to hatch entities.

ProgeCAD 2006 Professional includes a library manager for discipline specific symbols, ACIS solid modeling, raster image support, rendering, and a unique set of tools that only ProgeSOFT offers. ProgeCAD software supports the DWG design file format, from version 2.6 through 2006, plus support for AutoCAD® menus, scripts, blocks, and AutoLISP®.
