Hot Summer for progeCAD in Asia

Earlier Earlier in June, progeCAD 2024 was unveiled to the Vietnamese audience at VIMF 2023, the Industrial & Manufacturing Fair in Vietnam. In July progeCAD is entering another Asia’s grand event, ARCHIDEX, the International Architecture, Interior Design and Building Exhibition. From the 26th to 29th of July, 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, MCAD Technologies, the progeCAD distributor for Malaysia, is presenting progeCAD 2024 Professional to the Malaysian and International architecture and building professionals.

ARCHIDEX is Asia’s leading architecture business event which annually takes place within the annual Kuala Lumpur Architecture Festival (KLAF) and brings together industry professionals, businesses, and trade players from the architectural and building community. This year’s theme focuses on three pillars – namely sustainability, future architecture, and wellbeing – and will see over 550 local and international exhibitors from countries such as Malaysia, Australia, China, France, Japan, and Singapore occupying 1,400 stands spread across the venue’s 10 halls. Vietnam Industrial and Manufacturing Fair started on June 21 at World Trade Center Binh Duong New City (WTC) to receive domestic and international visitors for 3 days up to June 23, 2023. This year about 350 exhibiting companies welcomed visitors presenting their innovative products and solutions to the interested audience.

VIMF – Vietnam Industrial & Manufacturing Fair is an international industrial exhibition in the form of a roadmap held in the Industrial Complex which scope is to connect supplies of machinery, parts, equipment, technology and process solutions necessary for the automobile, electronics, machinery, textile, footwear, and high-tech industries to related manufacturers. VIMF is the biennial trade show in Vietnam organized to give practical insights into the latest strategies, tools and trends.

This article will demonstrate us how progeCAD 2021 can handle BIM models also offering tools to generate 2D representations from these models, such as elevations and sections. Viewing the predefined tables and creating ad hoc sections and elevations, designers can easily realize how model geometry is organized.

progeCAD 2021 is released to offer greater user experience!


With progeCAD 2021, drawing and editing is quicker, easier and more efficient thanks to the new commands and tools such as SELFILTER, Selection Cycling, Quick Properties and Associative Array. Two new Custom Ribbon menus for beginners and 2D drafters allow to keep only useful toolsets at your fingertips getting rid of unnecessary functionality that occupies your workspace. It is much easier to handle drawing data in progeCAD 2021, as the user can now quickly extract and organize all drawing data creating various tables such as bills of materials and parts lists with the dataextraction command.

The new ability to create QRCODEs from texts or URLs and to insert them in your drawings further enriches projects with valuable information. Another enhancement involves the drawing publishing phase: the 2021 version offers the Autopublish command and also adds the PDF Append function to better manage the exported into PDF drawing documentation. Finally, the new major release is also beefed up with discipline specific features such as section and elevation lines creation, 2D parametric library with mechanical/structural construction components and import of .sldprt part and .sldasm assembly SolidWorks files.

progeCAD Philippines joins WORLDBEX 2019

progeCAD Philippines will be participating in the Philippine World Building and Construction Expo, a highly-anticipated trade event in the Philippines, on March 13-17, 2019 in World Trade Center Metro Manila SMX Convention Center Manila.
