ProgeSOFT Announces progeCAD 2025 with Highly Anticipated Advanced Blocks Support and New Features.
ProgeSOFT has launched progeCAD 2025, the latest version of its DWG/DXF-native CAD platform, introducing significant innovations to enhance the design workflow for professionals. The new release brings Advanced Blocks functionality, enabling the management of dynamic blocks similar to AutoCAD®, along with numerous performance improvements.
With progeCAD 2025, users can now create and edit blocks with parameters, actions, and visibility states just like AutoCAD® dynamic blocks. The software also ensures that when opening AutoCAD® drawings with dynamic blocks, they are automatically converted into Advanced Blocks during editing, preserving their parameters.
In addition to Advanced Blocks, progeCAD 2025 introduces several other innovations:
- Generative AI Translator: A new tool powered by Google® AI that translates entire drawings or parts of them into any languages.
- AEC Module: Compatible with AutoCAD® AEC Objects, it allows the creation of 3D architectural elements in a 2D plan view.
- ARX API: A new framework that simplifies the transition of AutoCAD® applications to progeCAD.
- Performance Enhancements: Faster opening of drawings with multiple blocks and/or external references, quicker editing geometry, and easier GIS/map image adjustments with the Rubber Sheeting feature.
The update also includes the ability to directly import Autodesk® Revit files, along with experimental commands for exporting to IFC formats.
